About Us

Summer Camp

The Coach Dan Prete Basketball Camp is designed to teach the fundamentals of basketball to boys and girls ages 6 to 17 of all skill levels.

Coach Prete is at camp every day running the day-to-day activities. Our camp emphasizes individual skills, fundamentals, team strategy, and team play. Our focus will be on individual improvement, sportsmanship, teamwork, work ethic, and leadership skills. All within a positive learning environment that is surrounded by fun!

Coach Prete

Coach Prete has over 20 years of coaching and summer camp experience. He has currently coached and developed 51 Division I scholarship athletes and 6 NBA players: Kevin Durant (pictured above with Coach Prete), Justin Robinson, Justin Anderson, Terrence Ross, Greivis Vasquez, Linas Kleiz.

COVID-19 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

**UPDATED 6/5/2020** We have appreciated your patience as we have worked to make decisions regarding our 2020 summer camps with the safety of our campers and staff as our number one priority. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we regretfully announce the cancellation of the following sessions:

Bishop Walsh School

June 22 - 26

June 29 - July 3

South Hagerstown High School

July 6 – 10

Allegany College of Maryland

July 27 - 31

We have received interest in camp being held later this summer. If Maryland continues to enter new phases of reopening, we will evaluate the possibility of two camp sessions at our Bishop Walsh School location. The date of those sessions would be July 20 - 24 and July 27 - 31. A decision would be made and communicated by June 30th. Spots would be limited.

**UPDATED 5/31/2020** We appreciate your patience while we work to finalize decisions for our 2020 camps. We will announce a final decision for our camp dates in June 2020 by no later than June 5th.

We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation. Our priority is the safety of our campers and staff. Currently our 2020 summer camps are on schedule to operate. If the situation changes and a decision is made to change or cancel any of our camp sessions, we will provide updates and information at that time.
